Lesley M Pengelly has been taking pictures for many years and specialises in outdoor, equine and animal portrait photography, although I enjoy other aspects of photography which are displayed on my site.

I have developed the art of taking show-jumping pictures/dressage, capturing the gait of the horse and of course, showing off the rosettes!

I know and understand that animals all have different characteristics and some are shy and some find cameras spooky!!  I take this into account when working and will make every effort to stay in the background and not interfere or distress any animal that is why I never use flash with animals as I understand that this can cause them undue distress.

My prices reflect the quality of the pictures that I take and have to also take into account that I do not have hundreds of sales like top event photographers and so have to cover my costs, not only of the photos that I take but the cost of running this web-site, and up-dating my camera equipment.
